I am a first time homeowner. My first experience with Erwin was where he was considered the door and cabinet installation expert. My job required that he install a dog door into a new swinging door, and then install the new swinging door. It has been three years since the install, and the door looks, fits, and swings, better than the original door.
I have been making preparations this year to rent my house as I move out of state, I had him come by and inspect various necessary repairs. He gave me a price for a new bathroom door installation. In addition, he gave me valuable instructions and recommendations for repairing cracks and holes on the inside and outside of the house. As expected, the work he did came out beautifully; but the recommendations he gave me (at no cost) for the other work was more than worth the money.
I highly recommend Erwin to anyone who is planning several repairs on a house. He will walk through the house with you and provide a reasonable price for him to do the work or make recommendations for you do to the work yourself. Exquisite Installations' owner arrived to repair double storm doors 20 minutes ahead of the scheduled appointment time. He was polite and very professional in demeanor. His 30 years of experience and knowledge of problems re all types of doors was put to the test as he discovered extensive water damage in the framework which prevented the doors from closing properly. He was efficient and worked diligently to resolve the issues. My doors now operate as thought brand new!! I would recommend him highly for his integrity and honesty. Cynthia N. Erwin did more and exceptional work than I was expecting. Because of recent rains, the stain and paint took longer to dry. I was expecting additional costs but there were none. | Erwin installed a Larson Storm Door on the back of our home in Nob Hill. Our 1930 home comes with unique dimensions in places (e.g. a narrow door frame) but Erwin handled everything with no problem and the new door fits perfectly. Erwin has been involved in creative endeavors and putting "things" together since the young age of nine. This inherent interest led to installing doors and cabinets for over 25 years. Erwin has a Bachelors degree in Art and has technical training in aeronautics. This has given him a high-level sense of, not only esthetics, but knowledge of the way things come together and operate effectively. Erwin receives great satisfaction in a job well done.

Erwin's only helpers are his truck and his large array of tools, which can accomplish just about anything when it comes to doors and cabinets.
